Environmental initiatives
We work with contracted growers on crop rotation, documented inputs and integrated pest management so Indian fruit and vegetable lots stay within destination residue rules.
Torna Enterprises supplies GlobalGAP-certified fruit and vegetables packed to destination Maximum Residue Levels (MRL), so lots stay within pesticide residue limits.
We work to cut the impact of export packaging, using recyclable and biodegradable materials wherever destination rules allow.
Logistics are planned to cut empty miles — air from Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Goa; sea from JNPT, Tuticorin and Chennai — with the cold chain held through handover.
We avoid a single-crop bet. Grapes, mango, pomegranate and vegetables on contracted farms help keep regional crop mix and export programmes diverse.
